Notorious Wood Fired Pizza Co. is a premium mobile wood fired pizza trailer which combines traditional Neapolitan methods, Northern Irish ingredients, a deep love for pizza and handmade fresh dough to serve authentic and luscious Neapolitan style wood fired pizza with a distinct Irish twist.
The idea for Notorious Wood Fired Pizza began back in late 2016, when 3 friends DJ O’Brien, Ruairi Glavin and Odhrán Hassan realised it was extremely difficult to find authentic quality pizza near their homes in Co. Derry, Northern Ireland. Noting a gap in the market for high quality pizza, the wheels were set in motion for Notorious Wood Fired Pizza Co. which began trading in mid-2018.
The mission at Notorious Wood Fired Pizza is to be a cut above the competition by serving amazing artisan wood fired pizzas, created with hand-made fresh dough allowed to ferment for 24-48 hours, home-made tomato sauce made using tomatoes imported straight from the foot-hills of Mount Vesuvius in Italy and combining this with only the best local Irish ingredients as toppings.
Our passion for pizza means that we create sumptuous and authentic Neapolitan style pizzas taking our customers on an epic food journey with every bite, bringing the true taste of Italy to Northern Ireland.

It's all about quality
At Notorious Wood Fired Pizza we didn’t want to settle for just an average pizza, we had a vision of creating an authentic Neapolitan style pizza using the best Italian flour and tomatoes imported direct from Italy, coupled with the abundance of quality local ingredients available right here in Ireland.
To create this truly authentic pizza, quality ingredients must be used throughout the process starting with the dough, which is made with Italian zero zero grade flour imported direct from Naples. The dough must then be complimented with a sweet home-made tomato sauce created using tomatoes farmed on the foot hills of Mount Vesuvius, with just a pinch of salt, oregano and basil added for a little zing. Finally to top the pizzas, we use seasonal organic produce such as fresh basil and rocket (arugula) grown in our own back gardens. Originating in the only cheese producing buffalo farm in Ireland our cheese of choice is a creamy buffalo mozzarella from Macroom, Co. Cork and is packed full of flavour. For the meat lovers we use mouth-watering spicy chorizo and divine fennel salami - all oozing with flavour and hailing from Corndale farm in Limavady, Co. Derry.
